Dear Ms. Atack:
In accordance with Reference 1, the purpose ofthis letter is to provide proposed changes to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval of the American Centrifuge Operating, LLC's (ACO) SP-3605-0039, American Centrifuge Classified Cyber System Security Plan (SSP). provides a response to the NRC's request for additional information provided on February 12, 2021 (Reference 2), related specifically to SP-3605-0039. Enclosure 2 provides the proposed changes to SP-3605-0039 as noted in tracked changes and a revision bar in the right-hand margm.
Enclosures 1 and 2 contain Security-Related Information and, in accordance with the guidance provided by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), contain Official Use Only information.
Therefore, ACO requests these enclosures be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390(d)(l).
ACO respectfully requests NRC complete their review and continued approval to coincide with the requested Authority To Operate the information system security plan as defined in SP-3605-0043, American Centrifuge Operating, LLC Classified Distributed Control System (DCS) Information System Security Plan (ISSP), for the processing up to and including Secret-Restricted Data to support the ongoing schedule for the DO E's HALEU Demonstration Program.
