The TSTF has reviewed the draft Safety Evaluations for TSTF-577, Rev. 1, "Revised Frequencies for Steam Generator Tube Inspections" that were provided by the NRC on March 24.
The TSTF has no comments on the draft Safety Evaluations other than the two editorial comments we discussed last week:
In the traveler SE, page 10, there is a footnote that references the audit report (ML20216A673) which is not publicly available. On Page 8, the audit summary is referenced as ML20345A008 and that is available. We recommend revising the page 10 footnote to include the same accession number as the page 8 footnote and change Technical Specifications Task Force-577 to TSTF-577.
In the model SE, page 3, line 36, the bullet should be in bold and bracketed and be reworded to be appropriate for a plant-specific SE.
The TSTF does not intend to send a letter in response to the staffs March 24 letter and this email serves to document our comments.
