1. Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) letter to U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), "Application to Revise Technical Specifications to Adopt TSTF-501 "Relocate Stored Fuel Oil and Lube Oil Volumes to Licensee Control," Revision 1," (ADAMS Accession No. ML20057G004), dated February 26, 2020
2. NRC Electronic mail from S. Lingam (NRC) to J. Schrage (Entergy),

Subject:

"Entergy Fleet (GGNS and RBS) - TSTF-501 LAR SE, Relocate Stored Fuel Oil and Lube Oil Volumes to Licensee Control (EPID L-2020-LLA-0032)," dated February 8, 2021 In Reference 1, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) submitted a request for a proposed amendment to Renewed Facility Operating License (FOL), Appendix A, "Technical Specifications" (TS) for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS) and River Bend Station, Unit 1 (RBS). Specifically, Entergy requested to adopt Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)

Traveler TSTF-501, Revision 1, "Relocate Stored Fuel Oil and Lube Oil Volume Values to Licensee Control" into the GGNS and RBS TS. The proposed change, in part, revises GGNS and RBS TS 3.8.3, "Diesel Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, and Starting Air" by removing the current stored diesel fuel oil and lube oil numerical volume requirements from the TS and placing them in the

CNRO-2021/00010 Page 2 of 2 TS Bases so that they may be modified under licensee control. The TS are also revised such that the stored diesel fuel oil and lube oil inventory will require that a 7-day supply be available for each diesel generator at GGNS and RBS.

In Reference 2, the NRC identified an administrative error in the proposed GGNS marked-up and clean TS pages that were provided in Attachments 1a and 2a to the Enclosure of Reference 1. Corrected versions of the proposed GGNS marked-up and clean TS pages are provided in Attachments 1 and 2 to this letter, respectively. The corrected TS pages are consistent with TSTF-501, Revision 1.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, Entergy is providing notification of this LAR by transmitting a copy of this letter and enclosure to the designated State Officials.

The No Significant Hazards Consideration determination provided in the Reference 1 submittal is not altered by the corrected TS pages provided in this letter.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.

If there are any questions or if additional information is needed, please contact Ron Gaston, Director, Nuclear Licensing at (601) 368-5138.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on March 3, 2021.
