Ensuring Compliance and Continuing to Enhance Safety September 1-3 & 9-10, 2020 1
The 2020 NEI FLEX Virtual Summit will be held as a series of webinars, from September 1-10. The purpose of this summit is to:
Reach a common understanding on various FLEX-related topics such as proper implementation through the successful application of operating experience and knowledge management and achieving FLEX realism to support NRC licensing and oversight.
Advance discussion topics with a goal of being able to provide senior management with recommendations to resolve any issues related to crediting and expanding the use of FLEX.
In cases where a common understanding is not achieved, develop action items and paths forward to bring issues to resolution through the appropriate regulatory engagement.
