Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-317/89-05 and 50-318/89-05
This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. R. Paolino of this
office on February 27 - March 3, 1989 of the Calvert Cliffs Unit 1 & 2
facility located at Lusby, Maryland of activities authorized by NRC License
Nos. DPR-53/0PR-69 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Paolino
with Mr. L. Russell and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection included your corrective actions
associated with the EQ Program and related open items.
These items include
previous violations and unresolved items.
Your corrective actions associated
with these items were found to be acceptable and are technically closed.
The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and records,
interviews with personnel, examination of equipment and observations by the
inspectors. Within the scope of the inspection, no violations were identified.
No reply to this letter is required.
