This letter' refers to the routine safety inspections conducted by. Messrs.
S. Barr, W. Ba~unack, E. Collins, T. Easlick, T. Fish, D. Lew, and K. Kolaczyk-
for the period February:26 through April 1,1989, at the Oyster Creek Nuclear
Generating Station. The inspections consisted of document reviews, interviews
and observations of. activities as documented in.the enclosed inspection report.
The findings were discussed with you and other members of'your staff after the
-inspections.
This-letter documents receipt of your letter, dated August 24, 1988.- Your let-
ter outlined corrective actions in response to the. Notices of Violation of In-
- spection Report-50-219/88-21. . Review of your corrective actions will be con '
ducted in a future NRC. inspection.
This letter also documents receipt of your letter, dated March 21, 1989, out-
lining a review of the Preliminary Safety Concern Process. .The review provided
.
confidence that your process had not'left significant safety questions unre-
, solved.
