By letters dated September 2,1968 and February 15, 1989, you prov'ided an analysis and supplementary information to support a planned modification that would increase the lateral shear forces on-the Control Building by up to 3 i
percent. From our completed review and evaluation of the analysis and supple-mentary information you provided to support the proposed increased' shear loading, we find that the proposed shear loading increase is acceptable.
Before startup after the upcoming outage during which the modifications will l
l be performed, a license amendment will be required to reflect the new shear load limit requirement.
