A Gentlemen:
By letter dated June 21, 1988, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted a license amendment request for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units l' and 2.
The proposed changes eliminate the residual heat removal service water discharge differential pressure function from the list'of remote shutdown monitoring instrumentation required by the Technical Specifications.
The NRC Project Manager has requested CP&L review the previously submitted Technical Specification pages to ensure the in rporation of recently issued license amendments. The Company has determini the previously' submitted proposed Technical Specification pages require updating to incorporate issuance of previous amendments. Enclosed is a summary of the revisions, along with the updated proposed Technical Specification.nages.
