SUBJECT:

MEETING WITH PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC COMPANY ON LIMERICK SEVERE ACCIDENT MITIGATION ISSUES I

On July 27, 1989, a meeting was held between the NRC staff and representatives j of Philadelphia Electric Company and its consultants on severe accident i mitigation issues for the Limerick Generating Station. For the purpose of I keeping.a record, the meeting was recorded and a meeting transcript prepared.

.By this memorandum, copies of the. meeting transcripts are being placed in the 4 NRC and -local public. document rooms.

It should be noted that the stenographic meeting transcript is an uncorrected record of the discussions recorded at the subject meeting. In particular, one recurring error in the transcript appears to be the erroneous identification in almost all cases of Mr. E. Che111ah's statements as being statements made by Mr. A. Bhattacharyya. Further, no participant at this meeting accepts any responsibility for errors or inaccuracies of statement or data contained in this transcript.
