LIMERICK REACTOR OPERATOR (RO) AND SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR (SRO) INITIAL EXAMINATION REPORT NOS. 50-352/98-01 and 50-353/98-01 (OL)
Dear Mr. Smith:
This report transmits the findings of the reactor operator (RO) and senior reactor operator (SRO) licensing examinations conducted by NRC examiners during the week of

January 20-23,1998 at the Limerick Generating Station. Based on the results of the examinations, all RO and SRO applicants passed all portions of the examinations. At the conclusion of the examination, Mr. H. Williams discussed the preliminary findings with other members of your staff.

These examinations addressed areas important to public health and safety and were developed and administered under interim Revision 8 to the Examiner Standards (NUREG 1021). For these examinations, Limerick Generating Station personnel developed all segments of the examinations, while the NRC provided oversight and final approval prior to the administration of the examinations. Limerick treining personnel subsequently administered the NRC-approved written examinations, while the operating portion of the examination were administered by the NRC.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
