AMENDED SECURITY PLAN 1
Gentlemen:
Georgia Power Company hereby submits a revision to the Physical Security Plan for the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 in j
accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 73.40.
This revision re-places chapter eight in the security plan, " Response to Security Con-tingencies", in its entirety in order to expand and clarify the des-cription of contingency response planning and capability as required by 10 CFR 7 3.40.
Since public disclosure of security information may jeopardize the safety of this f acility, we request that the material submitted herewith be maintained as proprietary and withheld from public disclosure in ac'cordance with the provisions of paragraph 2.70(d) of 10 CFR Part 2.
