i NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY In accordance with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's ("ASLB" or " Board") Memorandum and Order of November 18, I
1987, Texas Utilities Electric Company ("TU Electric") hereby provides notice that the following Project Status Reports
("PSR") and the reports and documents relied on in each such PSR are available for review:
l Publication Project Status Report Date j
Large Bore Piping and Pipe Supports (Rev. 0) 11/2/87 Small Bore Piping and Pipe Supports (Rev. 0) 11/2/87 Cable Tray and Cable Tray Hangers (Rev. 0) 11/6/87 8712170048 871210 PDR ADOCK 05000445 G
Conduit Supports Train C 2-inch Diameter and Less (Rev. 0) 11/11/87 Conduit Supports Trains A and B and Train C Larger Than 2-inch Diameter (Rev. 0) 11/18/87 Copies of each of the above-referenced PSR's have been previously provided to the parties to this proceeding and to the Board.
Although Interveners have already been provided copies of a large number of the documents relied on (referenced) in the five PER's issued to date, 1/ nonetheless, for the convenience of the Interveners, Applicants have, with minor exceptions, placed copies of documents referenced in each PSR in the Document Room at TU Electric's offices in Dallas, Texas. 2/
In addition to making available for review the reports and documents referenced in each PSR, TU Electric, 1/
Attached hereto is a list of all documents referenced in the five issued PSR's which have previously been provided to Interveners.
2/
The only documents referenced in the PSR's and not placed in the Document Room in Dallas are pleadings filed in this proceeding, NRC Regulatory Guides, and publicly available industry codes and standards such as ASME code.
In addition, due to the sheer volume of material included in reference 39, Section 6.0 in the Cable Tray and Cable Tray Hangers PSR, those materials have not been placed in the Document Room in Dallas, but will be made available for review upon request.
Finally, the FSAR and the S-910 series of drawings both of which are referenced in various PSR's will also be made available for review upon request.
. )
in an effort to assist Interveners in the discovery process and to insure that the process works smoothly, has developed j
a system for identifying, locating, and retrieving the raw data underlying each PSR.
As of the date of this Notice J
of Availability, TU Electric has placed in the Document Room in Dallas, indexes of the calculations, drawings, Discrepancy Issue Reports, and where applicable Audit Reports and Surveillance underlying each PSR.
These various indexes are intended to provide a means for comprehensively organizing, identifying, and making promptly retrievable the massive volume of raw data for each PSR.
These indexes will be maintained and periodically updated by TU Electric in the Document Room in Dallas.
In addition to the indexes described above, TU Electric is in the process of developing a computer link between its Document Room in Dallas and the data base maintained by TU Electric Document Control Center ("DCC") on site. 3/
Once operational, TU Electric believes the computer link will assist Interveners in refining their document requests and will permit TU Electric to ensure that Interveners are provided with the identity of the most current version of drawings, design changes, Design Basis Locuments, Field Verification Methods, specifications, and Task Descriptions.
I 3/
TU expects the computer link to be operational in the next few weeks and will so notify the Interveners.
l
)
Upon 5 days notice to the TU Electric contact referenced
)
below, TU Electric will provide Interveners with a trained computer operator to access the DCC data base.
)
All arrangements for reviewing the reports, documents, i
and indexes and for access to the DCC data base in the Document-Room should be made directly by Interveners through TU Electric's i
point of contact, Debra Anderson,. Texas Utilities Electric Company, Telephone No. (214) 812-4379.
