AFFIDAVIT OF WILLIAM G. JOHNSON IN SUPPORT OF LILCO'S MOTION FOR
SUMMARY
DISPOSITION OF THE WALK RADIO ISSUE William G. Johnson, being duly sworn, deposes and says as follows:
1.
I am President of Campaign Research, Incorporated, which conducts tele-l l
phone surveys for various political, business, and other entities and whose principal business office is located at 57 Kings Highway North in Westport, Connecticut.
1 2.
At LILCO's request, Campaign Research, Incorporated conducted a tele-phone survey of a random sample of 600 residents in the 10-mile EPZ around Shoreham between September 30,1987 and October 4,1987. The purpose of the survey was to ob-tain information about radio ownership in the 10-mile EPZ and, specifically, to deter-1 mine the percentage of EPZ households that own FM radios. The report on the survey methodology and results (Attachment 7 to this motion) was prepared by me or under my supervision and direction.
3.
The survey results show that about 98% of Shoreham EPZ households have radios. Two percent of the EPZ households have neither AM nor FM radios, i
4.
The survey results show that the households with radios have an average j
(mean) of 3.3 radios.
]
5.
The survey results show that 99% of all EPZ households with radios (or 97%
of all EPZ households) have at least one AM/FM or FM-only radio.
6.
The survey results show further that 95% of all households in the 10-mile l
1 EPZ have cars, and that 93% of these households have at least one car with an'AM/FM l

The foregoing facts are known by me to be true, of my own knowledge. I am j
competent to testify to such facts, and would so testify if I appeared as a witness in a public hearing on this matter, j
