Reference (a) transmitted additional information to support the license and Technical Specification amendment submitted under Reference (b).
The changes were requested in order to implement the Hydrogen Water Chemistry (HWC) program at Quad Cities Station. The "HWC Installation Report for Amendment to the Facility Operating License" and "HNC Installation Compliance f
with Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Guidelines for Permanent BWR Hydrogen Water Chemistry (September, 1987 Revision)" were revised in March, 1989.'
The revision to the reports document the final configuration of the HWC System at Quad Cities and incorporates vendor supplied information on liquid hydrogen and the HWC verification system. The reports are transmitted for the Staff's review and information for the upcoming NRR inspection.
