A routine safety inspection was conducted by R. Struckmeyer and J. Jang of
this office on August 24-28, 1987 of activities related to your radiological
analyses and measurements program and the Radiological Environmental i
Monitoring Program at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station. I
Areas examined during this inspection included your capability for analyzing
radioactive effluents, and to achieve and maintain comparable methods of
analysis between your facility and the NRC. Our inspector performed
independent measurements of your samples using the NRC-Regional Mobile
Laboratory Facility. Additional areas examined included implementation of the
REMP, environmental dosimetry, and meteorological monitoring.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. i
