' Generic Letter 82-33 Safety Parameter Display System Gentlemen:
In a letter dated November 23, 1988, the NRC provided South Carolina Electric
& Gas Company.(SCE&G) with a status of the NRC review of the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station. The NRC indicated that because SCE&G was. installing a new SPDS, a re-review of the system by the NRC would be'necessary when the system was installed and operational.- In order to keep the NRC informed of the status of this project, please find attached a tentative milestone schedule.
If significant delays'which are expected to extend the overall completion date are incurred
'during this project, SCE&G will notify the NRC and submit a revised schedule.
