Mr. Craig Conklin, of this office, observed several activities and attended -
several meetings with Commonwealth and local officials in the areas
surrounding the Pilgrim Station during the period January 31 to February 2,
1989. He was accompanied by various members of your staff, and by Messrs.
Alfred Slaney and Thomas Rodger and Ms. Julia Gabaldon of the Massachusetts
Civil Defense Agency Area II office.
. Specific activities included observation of Implementing Procedure training
for the Marshfield Fire Department in Marshfield, attendance at a meeting
with the Massachusetts Civil Defense Agency Area II Director, the. Plymouth
and Duxbury Civil Defense Directors and the Marshfield Town Manager, and a
tour of the Reception Center facilities located in Wellesley, Taunton and
Bridgewater. Specific observations are enclosed.
