SER - RADIOLOGICAL CONTINGENCY PLAN (RCP)
Background' By letter dated April'6,1987, GE submitted changes to their Radiological Contingency Plan (RCP) for the Vallecitos Nuclear Center as required by License Condition No.12 of Special Nuclear Material' No. SNM-960.
Discussion The proposed changes to the RCP involve the revision df the site and facility descriptions, and changes in organization and titles. The staff has reviewed the changas and agrees with the licensee's. conclusion that they do not decrease. -j the response effectiveness of the Plan.. Accordingly, the staff recommends that the RCP te arrended to incorporate these changes.
i RegiendJpmments The RCP changes were discussed with Buddy Brock 6f Region V on June 26, 1987.
He has no objection. <
j Environment'l Effects No effluents will be generated as a result of this licensing action. Therefore, the environment.1 impact is minimal.
