A LOSS OF DC CONTROL POWER WILL EFFECT THE DIESEL DIFFERENTLY DEPENDING ON WHICH CIRCUIT LOSES POWER. IF ALL DC POWER IS LOST THE DIESEL WILL START AND YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SHUT IT DOWN LOCALLY BY TRIPPING THE FUEL RACKS.

IF OTHER FUSES ARE BLOWN THE EFFECT WId VARY FROM LOSS OF GOVERNOR CONTROL TO A LOSS OF PROTECTIVE RELAYING ASSOCIATED WITH THE DIESEL. THE CAUSE OF THIS ALARM SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED IMMEDIATELY.
