By this letter the Commission is informed of our wish to renew.Special Nuclear.

Materials License SNM-1656.

Our' current plans call for no further use of the Coratomic Model C-101 Pacemaker, but our continuing obligation to follow up throughout the life of pacemaker patients, as listed under condition 15, necessitates this renewal. Since 1976, Coratomic Model C-101 devices have been implanted in four patients.

Of these, three (serial #156, 213, and 267) remain in use with patients seen on a regular basis. One device, serial #228, implanted on 6/13/79 was removed

on 2/6/80 and replaced with a lithium powered device. The explanted pacemaker was returned to Coratomic, and received by then of April 2,1980.

Those persons whom we wish to remain listed as individual users of this license are:
