'I am in receipt of your letter of December 8 inquiring' as to my experience in inserting cardiac pacemakers. I am Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery and have' inserted approximately sixty (60). pacemakers in the last few years. Of these~, perhaps fifteen (15) have been inserted at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
.-It has been my custom to follow many of thess patients myself. However, in some cases, the cardiologist associated with the patient'follows him so'.
closely and my liaison.with the cardiologist is good so that'I do not,-in fact, duplicate that effort and. cost.
