This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. Thomas and
others on September 30, 1986 to October 3, .1986. at the Pilgrim Generating
Station, Plym'uth, Massachusetts, of activities authorized by NRC License
o
No. DPR-35, and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Thomas with
Mr. R. Silva of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection included followup of findings identified
during previous emergency preparedness inspections and exercises as documented
in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these areas, the inspection. consisted of selective examination of
procedures and representative records, interviews with licensee personnel,
- and observations made by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violatiens wcre identified.
