Interim Acceptance of Process Control Program Updated Through July 18, 1985, for la Salle County Station, Units 1 and 2 Your memoranda and attachments submitted February 11, and August 14, 1985, as part of your la Salle County Station, Units 1 and 2 Annual Operating Report modifies and augments your Process Control Program (PCP) dated December 29, 1983.
We have reviewed these submittals and find that the resulting PCP, updated through July 18, 1985, complies with the current NRC criteria; and therefore, is acceptable on an interim basis for use with the la Salle Units 1 and 2 Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications. Our findings are documented in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
The acceptability of this PCP is based on currently available guidelines that d) not fully incorporate the guidelines of 10 CFR 61.
Revised PCP guidelines incorporating the requirements of 10 CFR 61 are scheduled for development in FY 87. These forthcoming actions should be treated as a separate licensing action.
