This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. Henri F. vanKessel of
this office on January 12-16, February 9-13, and February 24-27, 1987 at the
Seabrook Station Unit 1, Seabrook, New Hampshire, of activities authorized
by NRC License No. CPPR-135 and to the discussions of our findings held by
Mr. vanKessel of this office via telephone on March 19, 1987 with Mr. G. Kann
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
With the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated.
