REVIEW 0F 01 INQUIRY REFORT NO. Q3-03-001 (ATS NO. RIII-83-A-0137) (DOCKET NO. 50-329; 50-330)

The enclosed 01 Inquiry Report on the Midland facility was not previously furnished for your Division's review.

As the report indicates, the discriminatory employment termination is still under investigation by 01:RIII, as 01 converted from an inquiry (Q3-83-001) to a full O! investigation (3-83-007).

It is my understanding that RIII has contracted the inspection of the alleger's technical concerns to Brookhaven National Laboratory. Accordingly, I

this inquiry report is provided for your Division's review (especially attachments 2 and 3) and necessary actions (RP-1215,' Processing Office of Investigations Reports).
