FEMA REGION III REPORT ON THE NOVEMBER 19, 1986 BEAVER VALLEY EXERCISE (PAPORTION)
Enclosed are the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Exercise Report (Pennsylvania portion) for the November 19, 1986 exercise of the offsite j
radiological emergency preparedness plan for the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station and the May 8, 1987 transmittal letter from FEMA to the NRC. As noted in.the May 8,1987 letter, one identified deficiency has been accomplished for 3
the Patterson Heights Borough and Patterson Township operating in accordanca l
with their. plan out of the Township Emergency Center. The remaining deficiency involves the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and its non-participation in a support role to local governments who were l
participating fully. This was scheduled for a remedial exercise in April 1987. As soon as the results are made available to us, we'will provide them to you.
