Inspection Report No. 50-219/86-21
This refers to the routine safety inspection by Messrs. W. Bateman and
J. Wechselberger from July 7 - August 17, 1986_and the Region based inspection
by Mr. W. Baunack from July 28-31, 1986 at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating
Station. The inspections consisted of document reviews, interviews and obser-
vations of activities as documented in the enclosed inspection report. The
findings were discussed with you and other members of your staff at the con-
clusion of the inspection.
An apparent violation of NRC requirements is cited in Appendix A and categor-
ized under the General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement
Actions, 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (Enforcement Policy 1986).
The response directed by this letter and the accompanying Notice are not
subject to the. clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget as
required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
We acknowledge receipt of your August 19, 1986 response to the Violation B(2)
cited in Inspection Report-86-06. Your corrective action will be verified in
a future inspection.
