We have cmpleted our review of the additional information, subnitted by your letter dated Decmber 13, 1985, to the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS), Unit 1 Physical Security Plan, dated August 18, 1981 and as amended by letters dated February 1, 1982; August 18, 1982; Novmber 12, 1982; May 27, 1983; Novmber 14, 1983; and Decmber 13, 1985, to be utilized for the protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance at PVNGS, Unit 3. Based on our evaluation, we have determined that the Plan meets the requirments of 10 CFR 73.67 for fixed site and in-transit protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance.
Accordingly, your Plan as identified above is approved and must be fully impimented, including changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 GR 70.32(e), by the date of fuel receipt.
We have determined that the enclosure to your letter of Decmber 13, 1985, contains information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d) . Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.790(d) (1), such information is demed to be ccnmercial or financial infonnation within tia meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a) (4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
