Discuss the objective and need for adding the four containment penetrations.

Include a summary of the safety evaluation performed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59.

Describe the significant parameters which dffect the mechanical function of the penetrations, and discuss their similarity to other existing penetrations at Catawba.

Identify the portion of your response to FSAR Question 430.11 that applies to the four new electrical penetrations.

Identify (a) the Penetration Type / Voltage Class in Table 0430.11-1 that is applicable to the new penetrations, and (b) the Penetration Protection Curves provided in Figures Q430.11-1 through Q430.11-7 that are applicable to the new penetrations or provide their appropriate Protection Curves.
