SUMMARY
Month:
July 1986 The unit began thd month at 78%, returning from its refueling outage. The unitiescalated power to 100% and remained at that level until July-22,.when a trip occurred. The trip was_ caused by a malfunction in the Digital Electro-Hydraulic system, which controls the Main Turbine valves. The unit returneu to' service on July 23.
During the power increase, several Chemistry holds occurred. The unit escalated to 100% on July 24, and operated at that level for the balance of the month, s

McGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION MONTHLY OPERATING STATUS REPORT 1.
Personnel Exposure For the month of June, 26 individuals exceeded 10 percent of their allowable annual radiation dose limit with the highest dose being 1.930 rem, which represents approximately 16.1% of that person's allowable annual limit.

The total station liquid release for June has been compared with the Technical' Specifications maximum annual dose conunitment and was less than 10 percent of this limit.
