Our letter dated March 17,1987,.-requested payment of a $150 application y fee for your Technical Specification-Change No.148, Revision = 0, because the NRR review staff considered it a separate applica' tion from the-December 1,1986 application which was approved on December 9,21986. -

Your letter dated March 26,1987 -(3F0387-17).. stated that other licensees have filed similar exemption requests 'which; required subsequent Technical.

Specification changes and both have been processed with one application-t fee.

In addition, you state that it was'your understanding that the Technical Specifications would be submitted as a supplement to.the -

exemption. Consequently,11t is your position that your February 17 -

1987 application should be considered supplemental to the earlier request and exemption. We have discussed:your March 26, 1987 request:

with the NRR review staff and have determined thatfyour February 17,;

1987 application can be accepted as-a supplement to your. December 1,-

1986 application. Therefore, it is not-necessary for your Corporation.

I to remit the $150 application fee requested in our letter dated March 17, 1%7. You will be billed for the December 1,1986 application, as -

i supplemented February 17, 1987,. in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR170.12(c)and170.21..
