NOTICE OF DEPOSITION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to 10 CFR S 2.740a, Suffolk County, by its attorneys, will take the deposition upon oral examination of Brian R. McCaffrey on the subject areas of his testimony, including the bases thereof, on Contentions Ex 38 and 39 and any other matters upon which he may testify during the proceedings regarding the February 13, 1986 Exercise of the LILCO Offsite Emergency Plan for Shoreham (the " Exercise").
In addition, the subject deposition may inquire into Mr. McCaffrey's duties and responsibilities in connection with:
(a) the Exer-cise; or, (b) his participation in or observation of any events or occurrences concerning the LILCO Plan and/or the Exercise thereof occurring before, on, or after February 13, 1986.
Such deposition will be taken before a Notary Public, or before some other authorized officer, at 1900 M Street, N.W.,

20036 beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the lith day of December, 1986, and continuing from day to day thereafter until the examination is completed.
Mr. McCaffrey is instructed to bring with him any notes, logs, summaries or other documents in his possession and/or control concerning the Exercise, its re-suits, its evaluation, or any recommendations arising therefrom, whether prepared prior to, during, or subsequent to the Exercise.
