The Nuclear Regulatory Comnission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 27 to Facility Operatino License No. NPF-18 for the La Salle County Station, Unit 2.

This amendment is in response to ynur letter dated July 3, 1986.

This amendment incorporates the modification of the automatic depressurization system logic as required by License Condition 2.C.(18)(d)(i).

A copy of the related safety evaluation supporting Amendment No. 27 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-18 is enclosed.
