NOTICE OF DEPOSITION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to 10 CFR S 2.740a, Suffolk County, by its attorneys, will take the deposition upon oral examination of Richard Donovan on the subject areas of his testimony concerning admitted contentions in this proceeding, and his duties and responsibilities as the Senior FEMA Controller at the February 13, 1986 Exercise of the LILCO Offsite Emergency Plan for Shoreham (the " Exercise"), and any other duties and responsibilities performed by or assigned to him in connection with: (a) the Exercise; and, (b) his participation in or observation of any events or occurrences concerning the LILCO Plan and/or the Exercise thereof occurring before, on, or after February 13, 1986. Such deposition will be taken before a Notary Public, or before some other authorized officer, at 1800 M Street, N.W., South Lobby-Suite 900, Washington, D.C. 20036-5891 I

beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the 20th day of January, 1987, and continuing from day to day thercafter until the examination is completed. Mr. Donovan is instructed to bring with him any notes, logs, summaries or other documents in his possession and/or control concerning the Exercise, its results, its evaluation, or any recommendations arising therefrom, whether prepared prior to, during, or subsequent to the Exercise.
