NOTICE OF DEPOSITION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to 10 CFR S 2.740a, Suffolk County, by its attorneys, will take the deposition upon oral examination of P. Giardina on the subject areas of his duties and responsibilities as one of the Federal evaluators used by FEMA to evaluate the offsite emergency response by LILCO's Local Emergency Response Organization ("LERO"), during the February 13, 1986 Exercise of the LILCO Offsite Emergency Plan for Shoreham (the "Exercisc"), including his duties and responsibilities in connection with his Exercise assignment as an evaluator of accident assessment at the Emergency Operations Center ("EOC"), and any other participation he may have had in connection with:
(a) the Exercise; and, (b) his participation in or observation of any events or occurrences concerning the LILCO Plan and/or the Exercise thereof occurring before, on, or after February 13, 1986.
Such deposition will be taken before a Notary 1

P. Giardina is instructed to bring with him any notes, logs, summaries or other documents in his possession and/or control concerning the Exercise, its results, its evaluation, or any recommendations arising therefrom, whether prepared prior to, during, or subsequent to the Exercise.
