. report. Within these areas,:the inspection consisted of selective

examinations of' procedures;and representative records interviews with ,

personnel, and observations'by'the inspectors. .s .

No deviations.or violations ,,

$were identified, as a result of this inspection.

The inspection.showed that 'some additional' actions are necessary in order for

the Unit-3 response capabilities and facilities to be considered in full

accordance with the Emergency Plan.- The_ action of most interest concerns-the

-

capability to provide onshift dose projections in a timely manner which is-

discussed in paragraph 4.d.(2) of the attached inspection report. -A similar

,

situation was identified during the May 1986 Units 1 and 2 Emergency Response

Facilities Appraisal. During the inspection exit interview you. committed to

I taking corrective action on this matter by March 1, 1987. With respect to the

. . 'other areas needing action, we-have identified,these.as open items in the

'

' attached. inspection report.- It is our intention to review your~ corrective

actions prior to the issuance'of-the operating license.
