SUBJECT:
CONFIRMATORY SURVEY OF EXXON NUCLEAR COMPANY CENTRIFUGE TEST FACILITY (CTF)
In answer to your memorandum dated December 29, 1986, the CTF was surveyed by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (0RAU) survey team and found to meet the NRC guidelines for release to unrestricted use.
A copy of their preliminary report of survey findings is enclosed for your information. The final report will be sent to you when it is received.
It is our recommendation, based upon the ORAU survey data, that the CTF be taken off of SNM-1227, Docket No. 70-1257.
