SUBJECT: MEETING SUMMARY REPORT 50-412/87-08
This refers to the meeting held at the NRC Region I Office on January 5, 1987,
at our request. This meeting was requested to discuss the present status of
the Operations Training Program for Beaver Valley Unit 2, and specifically the
" Unit 1/2 Operator Cross-Training Program Description - Licensed" submitted for
approval on September 30, 1986. The subjects discussed at this meeting are
included in the Meeting Summary which is enclosed with this letter.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and provided a better
,
understanding of your initial licensing program and the proposed structure of
the Unit 2 Nuclear Operations Unit.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed
report will be placed in the'NRC's Public Document Room.
