Thank you for your letter of March 10, 1987 regarding data and cost estimates relating to uranium mill tailings reclamation. The material presented to tour Subcommittee by letter dated September 8, 1986 included NRC staff editing based on information available as of September, 1986.
The NRC staff has reviewed this material and updated the report to reflect data as of March 1, 1987 (Enclosure 1). In addition, an explanation of the process by which this data has been developed is provided as Enclosure 2.
