Dear Mr. Lindblad:
OPA LFMB The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 122 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-1 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated November 29, 1984, as supenseded December 27, 1985.
The amendment modifies Technical Specification (TS) Sections 3.4.1.1 and 3.4.1.2 with respect to the number of reactor coolant loops required to be in operation in MODE 3 and during low power operation, adds a new surveillance requirement to TS 4.4.1.2 regarding control rod drive mechanisms, and incorpates minor editorial changes to the TS.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
