REVISED - CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS - MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-369 AND 50-370 This revises our letter sent to you on March 19, 1987, and confims the telephone conversation between Mr. R. Sharpe of Duke Power Company and Mr. T. A. Peebles of my staff on March 20,1987,. concerning delaying the Enforcement Conference to be conducted at the Region II office from April 14 to April 16, 1987 at 1:00 p.m.
The delays from March 25 and April 14 have been agreed to by NRC management to allow your staff to concentrate on your INP0 training accreditation meetings of March.25 and 26 and your INP0 two-week site inspection beginning March 30.:
This meeting is to discuss our findings relative to operability concerns that were raised over the past operation of the containment air recirculation fans
.and the containment spray system at at the McGuire Nuclear Station.
These concerns were stated in the Region II Inspection Report Nos. 50-369/87-04 and 50-370/87-04. -The specific issues of concern which should be addressed at the conference appear in the enclosed Enforcement Conference agenda.
Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
