Response to Generic Letter 87-06 Gentlemen:

The subject Generic Letter requires that licensees submit a list of all pressure isolation valves in their plant, and describe the periodic tests performed to assure the integrity of these valves. Alternatively, a licensee may submit a statement that current plant Technical Specifications require leak rate testing of all pressure isolation valves.

Seabrook Station Technical Specifications require periodic leak rate testing of pressure isolation valves. A list of Reactor Coolant System Pressure Isolation Valves is provided as Technical Specification Table 3.4-1.

The testing requirements for these valves are outlined in Technical Specification 3/4.4.6.

Should you have any questions or require further information regarding this matter, please contact Mr. Richard Belanger at (603) 474-9574, extension 4048.
