MEETING SUMARY - HARRIS NUCLEAR PLANT-- DOCKET NO. 50-400 -
This letter refers to the meeting conducted at your request in the Region II office on August 29, 1986.
The meeting involved a status report on problems associated with ' electrical cable separation at the Harris facility.
These problems had been initially discussed during a Region II office meeting on July 30, 1986.
Enclosed is a summary of the' meeting topic.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial, and provided a better under-standing of the cable separation problem root cause and corrective actions.
Also, the meeting described the reviews conducted to verify that similar problems-do not exist in other construction disciplines.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's Rules of Practice, "Part 2, Title _10, Code of Federal Regulations," a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
