On March 9, reactor pressure was reduced to 570 psig for turbine warmup. On March 10, the turbine tripped due to bearing low oil pressure. Investigation revealed that two of three pressure switches for the shaft driven oil pump discharge pressure too low, were causing set too high and the 1300 rpm bypass switch set the turbine trip. The two pressure switches were recalibrated, the bypass switch was reset, and the turbine was placed on line March 12.
