9/19/97 COMMENT RESOLUTION In their vote sheets, Chairman Jackson and Commissioners Dicus, Diaz, and McCaffigan approved the staff's recommendation, subject to editorial comments, the addition of a criteria to limit the total number of training requests, the establishment of a fixed interval for reevaluating the effectiveness of the criteria and their application, and a change in the relative priority assigned for class admission of students from Agreement States. These comments were incorporated in the SRM.
Subsequently, Chairman Jackson and Commissioners Diaz and McGaffigan approved the guidance to staff as reflected in the SRM issued on November 17, 19s7, and its enclosure.
Commissioner Dicus disagreed with the priority assigned for class admission of students from Agreement States and, therefore, disapproved the SRM.
Her separate statement, as well as Commissioner McGaffigan's response to it, are included in this voting record at their request.
