On December 6. 1997, the NRC completed an inspection at your McGuire Nuclear-

This inspection:was conducted to review the adequacy of an investigation of a-

concluded that the seals were intentionally cut by an unidentified

Other equipment was inspected by the NRC-and site Jersonnel
for evidence.of tampering and none was'found. The NRC concluded tlat the-
ongoing investigation and the response to:the tampering event was adequate.
