SUBJECT:
DIFFERING PRO ONAL VIEW PANEL You have been selected to serve on a panel to review a Differing Professional View. (DPV).
The purpose of the panel is to review the DPV and make recommendations to me for resolution.
The panel will be chaired by Bruce S. Mallett. The panel review and resolution shall follow the procedures in Region 11 Office No. 2304. Rev. 2.
dated January 31, 1997. and in NRC Hanagement Directive 10.159 dated August 27, 1996.
To the extent possible, the Janel review should be conducted independently and not involve individuals who lave directly participated in the formulation of the issue identified in the DPV.
Attached is a copy of the DPV.
The panel's recommendations should be provided to me by June 15. 1997.
Bruce Mallett will be contacting you to conduct the review.
