By letter dated March 29,1996, GPU Nuclear submitted a plant specific summary report documenting the results of the seismic walk-down evaluation performed at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station. The summary report addressed Generic Letter 87-02,
" Verification of Seismic Adequacy of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in Operatmg Reactors, Unresolved Safety Issue (USI) A-46" Following their review of the summary report, the NRC stafTissued requests for additional information on September 9,1997 and March 2,1998 in order to complete their assessment.
