UNITS 2 AND 3 DOCKET NOS. 50-361 AND 50-362 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO FACil ITY OPERATING LICENSES The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Southem Califomia Edison Company (the licensee) to withdraw its May 9,1996, as supplemented by letter dated June 27,1996, application for proposed amendments to Facility I
Operating License Nos. NPF-10 and NPF-15 for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 (SONGS), located in San Diego County, Califomia.
The proposed amendment would have added a requirement to maintain a Barrier Control Program to Section 5 of the improved Technical Specifications.
The Commission had previously issued a Notice of Consideration of issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on September 11,1996 (61 FR 47981).
However, by letter dated November 5,1998, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
