APPLICANTS STATUS REPORT Pursuant to the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions June 4, 2020 Order, Holtec International, Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, Entergy Nuclear Generation Company (now known as Holtec Pilgrim, LLC) and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.
(Applicants), hereby provide a final status report now that the Holtec Applicants have finalized an agreement with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that led to the Commonwealths withdrawal of its Petition on June 19, 2020 (ML20171A676). Pursuant to the terms of that agreement, the parties expect dismissal of the related petitions filed by the Commonwealth in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit by June 30, 2020. Pilgrim Watch is not a party to the agreement between the Holtec Applicants and the Commonwealth, and Applicants are not engaged in settlement discussions with Pilgrim Watch. Applicants do not expect to make any further filings in this proceeding now that settlement negotiations with the Commonwealth have concluded. Accordingly, Applicants withdraw their request, made in the Joint Motion for a Stay of Issuance of a Decision on the Pending Petitions (ML20156A050), that the Commission delay issuance of a decision in this matter.
